Itinerario
A guided tour of the Villa Devoto neighborhood, known as "the garden of Buenos Aires," allows you to discover its elegant residential character through tree-lined streets and historic mansions. The tour begins in Plaza Arenales, the heart of the neighborhood. Nearby are the San Antonio de Padua Parish and the Ceci Palace, an imposing early 20th-century residence. The tour also reveals corners steeped in history and culture, such as the Quinta de Villa Devoto, the former residence of Antonio Devoto, the philanthropist for whom the neighborhood is named; the Devoto Prison, with its strong presence in the city's collective memory; and the Devoto Station of the old San Martín Railway, which spurred the area's growth. We also share interesting facts about famous residents like Diego Maradona, who lived there in his youth.
